Lizzy’s Plan: “3 Peas in a Podcast” is a new half-hour sitcom episode, based on the award-winning comedic short film, Lizzy’s Plan. Both projects are created, written, produced by and contain songs written by Mia Rivera. While only recently entering film festivals, Lizzy’s Plan: “3 Peas in a Podcast” has already garnered 30 TOP HONORS in Film Festivals in 10 Countries worldwide including Best Comedy, Best TV Series, Best TV Pilot, Best Comedy Screenplay, Best Ensemble Cast and Best Actress for the title role of Lizzy, played by Rivera. Mia is in pre-production for filming the next half-hour episode of Lizzy’s Plan. She also has several completed episode scripts and two seasons’ worth of storylines. Mia’s goal is to bring this hilarious show to a network or streamer.

 

As a proud U.S. Army Veteran herself, Mia actively supports her fellow Veterans via her ties to her beloved American Legion Hollywood Post 43, Veterans in Media and Entertainment (VME), the Writers’ Guild of America Foundation, AT&T Veterans Media Fellowship, the USC Warrior Bards Program and the UCLA Wordcommandos Creative Writing Workshop. 95% of the talent in front of and behind the cameras are veterans from the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines.
